“He’s so dense, light bends around him!”

Hello all!

I hope you had a good Easter, and that you are now satisfied with the quantities of roast lamb/ mint sauce/ chocolate eggs. I’ve had an awesome time cooking exciting dishes for my family and seeing London spring into life with our tropical 16 degree April.

In a very good episode of the Thick of It (series 3, episode 1), Malcolm Tucker, decribes a new cabinet minister with the following colourful language:

Malcolm Tucker: He’s making Paul Remington a Cabinet Minister. Remtard Remington. I mean the guy is an epic ****-up. He’s so dense that light bends around him.

I’ve made a short (4.5 mins) video explaining what he means- and how for a human like poor Paul Remington to actually be dense enough for light to bend around him he’d have to weight more than Jupiter and be 10^9 times more dense than a black hole.

Let me know what you think!
